"Dear Cognoteam,
I had enjoyed my short stint here with the IT team and the company
as a whole. The business of matching knowledge and information
suppliers to fulfil the demands of synergistic value aggregators is an
intriguing one indeed.
Nevertheless, as the saying goes, "No banquet under heaven lasts
forever". (Maybe this saying does not apply to KISS). I am leaving
this party a little earlier and I wish to thank everyone of you for
making my stay an enjoyable one and to the directors for being
friendly and accessible.
I am grateful to Bruno, for inviting me to the team. I also salute
him for spearheading the use of PHP and open-source within an entity
whose scope of business largely lies within the financial
services/information industry. This is a wise and bold undertaking (a
good one nonetheless, IMO) because there are usually many a management
team within such industry that will yield to the pressure of operating
their IT under the hallucinative assurance of the proprietary
Microsoft & Oracle / SAP umbrella. This was what was appealing to me,
and what will likely define what I will be doing going forward.
In any case, I will be wearing my Cognolink Alumni badge proudly.
Best Rgds,
Vito"
